NICHIAS SOLVENTCLEAN™ – VOC abatement series – Part 2.

<What are VOCs and their types?>

VOCs, or Volatile Organic Compounds, are chemicals that are emitted as gases from various production processes. Not all VOC gases require a high-performance removal system. However, there are certain gases that absolutely require specialized systems such as NICHIAS SOLVENTCLEAN™ to protect workers from health hazards.

There are approximately 200 kinds VOCs that can be found in a factory workplace such as Toluene, Xylene, 1,3,5-Trimethylbenzene, Ethyl Acetate, Dichloromethane, etc. These come from various sources such as paint solvents (and thinners), adhesive materials, printing ink, cleaning agents, etc.

Below is a list of some of the more common types of VOC gases that can be handled by NICHIAS SOLVENTCLEAN™. However, there are many other VOCs that can be treated as well. If your process involves any of these gases, or there is another VOC that is not listed, you should consider adopting a VOC removal system if you are needing to manage the effect on the workplace or environment.  Feel free to consult us about details.
