NICHIAS SOLVENTCLEAN™ – VOC abatement series – Part 3.

NICHIAS SOLVENTCLEAN™ – VOC abatement series – Part 3.

<APPLICATIONS>

A Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) concentrating rotor is not used on its own. It is used to prepare the exhaust gas for further processing. This involves concentrating and extracting the VOCs from the exhaust gas.

By using a VOC concentrating rotor, the main removal system works more effectively and consumes less energy.

There are three main types of removal systems that use VOC concentrating rotors:

  1. Oxidization systems (Regenerative thermal oxidiser, Re-catalytic oxidiser, Catalytic recuperative oxidiser, Direct fired oxidiser)
  2. Cooling recovery systems (Cooling process & Condensation, Dehumidifying process)
  3. Adsorption recovery systems (Condensation process, Adsorption & Desorption process)

NICHIAS SOLVENTCLEAN™ can be used with all three system types above. However, each system demands differences in its design and application.

Part 4 will focus on the use of NICHIAS SOLVENTCLEAN™ in Oxidization systems.

What are Volatile Organic Compounds and which do we deal with when talking about VOC system?
